This website is the home of boys and girls lacrosse in Walpole, MA. Our youth lacrosse program is widely regarded as one of the best available for boys in grades 1-8 and for girls in grades 3-8.

The boys progam within Walpole Youth Lacrosse is a member of the South Central region of the Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League (MBYLL). The girls program is a member of the Founders Girls Lacrosse League (FGLL). Our goal is to promote the sport of lacrosse and provide a fun, positive, and enriching experience for both the youth and parents of Walpole.

We are all very excited about our summer season and can’t believe we are starting to plan for 2010-2011! So many players and parents have written inquiring about our tryout and upcoming season information. It is apparent that more and more players are looking to take their game to the next level with Mass Elite!

Boys Jamboree dates

The MBYLL have announced the dates of the boy’s Jamboree at Fort Devens.

The U9 boys will play their games on Saturday, June 19, 2010.

The U11-U15 boys will play their games on Saturday, June 12, 2010.

Walpole’s U15 Friday Night Lights lacrosse team kicks off the Spring 2010 season with a game against Foxboro at 6:00 PM on Turco field.

Foxboro’s U15 team has won the U15 Championship 2 years in a row and Walpole looks to knock them down a peg. The game will go on rain or shine.

Tomorrow, Sat 4/10, Walpole’s U13 Friday Night Lights lacrosse team will take on Foxboro’s U13 team at 6:00 PM on Turco field. Walpole’s U13 team won the 2009 championship and they are looking for a repeat year beginning tomorrow night.

Westwood Youth Girls Lacrosse April Vacation Clinic

For girls in grades 3 – 8, Apr 19 – 21, 9 AM – 12 PM, Westwood High School Flahive Field

The Westwood Youth Girls Lacrosse League will be holding an April vacation clinic for girls in grades 3 – 8. Coaches Leslie Frank (Westwood) and Scott Biron (Acton-Boxboro), along with Westwood High School girls lacrosse players welcome both new and experienced players who want to have fun while improving their skills.

The clinic will be held over 3 days: Monday, Apr 19 through Wednesday, Apr 21, from 9:00 AM until 12 noon. The cost of the program is only $40 per player.

2010 Adidas National Lacrosse Classic

 

Kyle Guilbert Selected to Play in 2010 Adidas National Lacrosse Classic

Kyle Guilbert son of Kim and Diane, a Junior and varsity Attackman at Walpole High School has been named an Adidas High School All-American and has been selected to represent the Northeast Region in the 2010 Adidas National Lacrosse Classic to be held in Germantown, Maryland July 5-8, 2010.

The Adidas National Lacrosse Classic brings the top 500 high school underclassmen lacrosse players in the country to one venue, where 20 regional teams will compete to become the 2010 USA Champion and earn the chance to compete for an International Championship against Canada.

Coach Andalo, Varsity Coach of Walpole High School Lacrosse, is pleased to announce the 5th annual Walpole Rebel Lacrosse Camp. The camp returns to the fields behind Bird Middle School during the week of June 21st through June 25th.

Some exciting changes have been revealed for 2010:

  • The camp will now be opened up to U9 players
  • The creation of the Junior Rebel, half-day option for our U9 and u11 players, at a tuition of $125
  • Lowered tuition for the Rebel, full-day plan; now $295 for 2010
  • An increased sibling discount of $50 for Junior Rebel brothers, and $75 for Rebel brothers
  • Online registration and the option of a deferred payment. Walpole Youth Lacrosse has partnered with the high school so we could offer you the option of a deferred payment plan using our online registration system.

On April 3rd, 2010, Gillette Stadium will host the New England Lacrosse Classic; a lacrosse double-header featuring all-Ivy League action with Cornell vs. Dartmouth and Princeton vs. Brown. Cornell returns to Gillette Stadium in 2010 after a heart-breaking overtime loss in last year’s NCAA Championship game. Don’t miss your chance to see four of the country’s top lacrosse programs as they take center stage at New England’s premier sports venue!
