Walpole Youth Lacrosse League
This website is the home of boys and girls lacrosse in Walpole, MA. Our youth lacrosse program is widely regarded as one of the best available for boys in grades 1-8 and for girls in grades 3-8.
The boys progam within Walpole Youth Lacrosse is a member of the South Central region of the Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League (MBYLL). The girls program is a member of the Founders Girls Lacrosse League (FGLL). Our goal is to promote the sport of lacrosse and provide a fun, positive, and enriching experience for both the youth and parents of Walpole.

A letter sent to the Walpole Times
The following letter appeared in the April 30, 2009 edition of the Walpole Times.
Kudos to Walpole Lacrosse
There are so many times in our lives that we are blessed with people who make a difference, but we fail to just say “thank you.” So right now I want to say “thank you” to Walpole Youth Lacrosse, the coaches, and all the parents.
Having two children involved in Walpole sports, I have to say the lacrosse organization is one of the least political (and I know all of you know what I mean by that) and most “real” that I have been involved with. Each and every coach goes beyond their roles to ensure everyone is included. If there are too many kids for three teams, they make four, enabling all youth players the opportunity to play. Not only do they give each and every player an opportunity to play, but make sure that they have rides to and from practices/games. No one is left behind.
While the coaches will tell you they would like to win, more importantly the league teaches the game, the team spirit, and prepares them for their continuation of the game beyond youth, if desired. And as far as communication, well you can’t ever say “I didn’t know.” They always let you know where, when, how and for how long… even if it changes every two hours.
This is my opinion, and I am sure each and every one of us has their own opinion about their sports, but Walpole Youth Lacrosse does not get the attention that most other youth sports do. So I am raising the flag, letting everyone out there know that this is one organization that just doesn’t get enough kudos.

The Walpole Youth Lacrosse League is an all volunteer organization which has at it’s core a love for the sport of lacrosse and a commitment to the young athletes of Walpole. The board, the coaches, the parents, and the players of Walpole Youth Lacrosse comprise a community within Walpole with a focus on sportsmanship and a desire to provide an enriching experience for everyone involved. In the end, the WYLL community does it’s best in order to provide a fun time for the kids and their experience is our reward.
